DCMS Women’s Sport Taskforce

Signify were invited to the DCMS Women's Sport Taskforce Roundtable — hosted by Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Sport, Media, Civil Society and Youth, Stephanie Peacock MP. The online abuse faced by female athletes demands urgent attention and solid evidence. We've spent years building the data and insight needed to understand the problem at scale, tracking abuse across global sports to give those tackling it the proof they need to act.

Alongside Ofcom, the Crown Prosecution Service, the Women's Super League, UK Sport, Sport England, The Football Association, Kick It Out, the UK Football Policing Unit and leaders from the UK's biggest sports governing bodies, we were part of vital conversations about the root causes of online abuse, what meaningful solutions look like, and how a joined-up national response can be built.

Signify Adviser and Chair of Kick It Out, Sanjay Bhandari addresses the room.

We're proud to play our part — bringing the data, driving the conversation, and working alongside those with the power to create lasting change.
